Minister of Electricity Inspects Power Stations Damaged by Iranian Aggression

The Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaim, inspected the power plants and water desalination facilities damaged as a result of the unjust Iranian aggression against these plants, coinciding with the rise in electrical loads during the summer season. The visit aimed to monitor ongoing operations and ensure the well-being of workers.

In a press statement issued on Thursday, the Ministry announced that Minister Al-Mukhaim reviewed the operational processes at the plant and listened to briefings from officials and technicians regarding the restart procedures for damaged units that had been temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure. He also received updates on the measures taken to ensure the continuous production of electricity and water, and to maintain the stability of the national electricity and water systems.

He commended the significant efforts and dedication of the workers in fulfilling their national duty, urging all staff to sustain their continuous efforts during this sensitive period in Kuwait’s history, demonstrating the professionalism and patriotism of the Ministry’s personnel by assuming the responsibilities entrusted to them. This, he noted, would contribute to maintaining the stability of the electricity and water systems and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of services to citizens and residents.

The statement added that Deputy Minister of Electricity, Dr. Adel Al-Zamel, conducted a similar inspection visit to another plant, where he reviewed ongoing operations and the measures implemented to ensure the stability of the country’s electricity and water systems.
