Trump: Major military punishment will be inflicted on Iran and the Houthis if their attacks are repeated

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States would hold Iran responsible for the Houthi attacks, threatening military punishment if the attacks were repeated. Trump said in a post on his Truth Social account on Thursday: “The Houthis have returned to their actions, firing at two Saudi ships last night. If they repeat this act, the United States will hold Iran responsible, considering the Houthis as an agent or representative of Iran.” He added: “A major military punishment will be inflicted on Iran, and, of course, on the Houthis themselves.”
