150 Trainees Participate in the Capital Summer Club

The head of the Capital Summer Club, Dr. Abbas Al-Fili, confirmed that the summer clubs organized by the Ministry of Education for the second consecutive year are part of a program aimed at utilizing the summer holiday to develop students’ capabilities and hone their skills in various fields. In a press statement, Al-Fili said that the summer program includes a comprehensive package of sports, cultural, educational, and social activities, which contribute to attracting students and developing their physical skills, while enhancing their cultural and social aspects. This aligns with the Ministry of Education’s vision, which places human development and the enhancement of human resources at the forefront of its priorities, recognizing students as the cornerstone of the development process. He noted that trainers were carefully selected according to their specializations in physical education and various activities, to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs.
Al-Fili explained that the Capital Summer Club offers a range of team sports, including football, basketball, and handball, alongside numerous educational activities and games aimed at promoting social culture, fostering cooperation and communication among students, and providing them with opportunities to meet, build positive relationships, and interact with one another. He added that the opening of the summer clubs came in response to directives from the Minister of Education to provide a safe educational environment that utilizes students’ free time during the summer holiday, offering them purposeful educational and recreational programs.
