"Junior Speed Skaters" Participate in the First Olympic Camp in China

Kuwait’s national junior short-track speed skating team is participating in a youth camp organized by the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games Organizing Committee in Harbin, China, lasting one week in coordination with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the International Skating Union (ISU). Fahed Al-Ajmi, president of the Winter Sports Club, said that players Bader Al-Mulla and Bader Al-Sarraf will take part in the players’ camp, while international player Abdullah Al-Shatti will join the youth coaches’ course to prepare him for a coaching role overseeing the younger athletes after his retirement. He added that the participation of Kuwaiti players in this Asian gathering, which includes a large number of countries, represents an important opportunity to develop the athletes’ technical and training levels, and he praised the support of the Kuwait Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia in facilitating this participation. He noted that the camp will be followed by a championship involving all participating countries to increase interaction among players, as well as to provide experience in competing in regional and continental tournaments.
