Kuwait and Bahrain: Strengthening Partnerships in Health and Academic Fields

Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi met today (Monday) with a delegation from the Gulf University in the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by the university’s president, Dr. Saad Al-Fahid, to explore ways to strengthen joint cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the university and to discuss developing partnerships in health and academic fields of mutual interest. In a press statement, the Ministry of Health said the meeting addressed cooperation prospects in medical education, training, scientific research, capacity building, and the development of health competencies, as well as the exchange of expertise, all of which contribute to supporting the quality of health services, enhancing integration between academic and health institutions, and advancing health development in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Bahraini delegation included Deputy University President Dr. Ghazi Al-Attiyah, Dean of the College of Education Dr. Walid Zubari, and Dean of the College of Medicine Dr. Muhammad Maddin.
