Faisal Matar – Iran continued its treacherous aggression against the country, escalating its criminal attacks with ballistic missiles and drones that targeted several facilities and camps belonging to the Kuwaiti Army. This brutal aggression, which “escalated significantly over the past two days,” resulted in injuries to several members of the Army Force. The attacks also hit two power and water desalination stations, causing two fires and damaging several facilities and power generation units at the stations.

The Kuwait Petroleum Company announced that a vital site in the oil sector was subjected to repeated, brutal Iranian attacks on Saturday morning, resulting in significant material losses and some injuries. The injured were treated and the site was evacuated. In a statement broadcast by KUNA, the company said it was coordinating with relevant state authorities to handle the aggression.

He continued that several vital and civilian facilities were targeted, including one power and water desalination station, which led to a fire and damage to several station facilities and power generation units. Fragments also fell in several locations across the country, causing material damage without any recorded human casualties.

**Fires and Injuries**

For his part, the official spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Major General Mohammed Al-Gharib, announced that firefighting teams managed to control two fires that broke out in two different locations in the south of the country on Friday morning. **Power Situation**

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Friday that, as a result of the criminal Iranian aggression against Kuwait, one power and water desalination station was attacked, causing damage to its facilities, a fire, and significant damage to many power generation units. This necessitated the activation of emergency plans and immediate response to mitigate the effects and maintain the stability of the electrical system.

The Ministry added that General Fire Force teams immediately responded to the incident, managing to control and extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, technical teams and emergency teams under the Ministry, in coordination with relevant authorities, began implementing necessary technical and precautionary measures to assess damages, secure the station, and work to restore affected units to service as quickly as possible, adhering to the highest safety standards.

The Ministry clarified that technical teams are working around the clock to maintain the stability of the electrical system and ensure service continuity, while continuously monitoring electrical network indicators and taking all necessary measures to limit any potential impact on the system. The Ministry appealed to citizens and residents to cooperate during this exceptional phase by rationalizing electricity consumption, as this has a direct impact on supporting the stability of the national electrical system, enabling technical teams to manage the system efficiently, and maintaining service continuity throughout the country.

The Ministry emphasized that public awareness and cooperation under these circumstances are an integral part of the national efforts to deal with the repercussions of this aggression, and that every contribution to rationalizing consumption enhances the electrical system’s capacity to overcome this phase and supports repair and rehabilitation efforts for damaged facilities as soon as possible. It noted that it would continue to inform the public of developments through its official channels, praying to God Almighty to protect Kuwait and perpetuate the blessings of security and safety upon it.
