Qatar Ministry of Defense: Armed Forces repelled a missile attack

The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that the armed forces had thwarted a missile attack targeting the State of Qatar. For its part, the Qatari Ministry of Interior declared that the security threat had been neutralized and that conditions had returned to normal, urging everyone to comply with instructions issued by the relevant authorities, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA). Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Interior had raised the security threat level and called on citizens and residents to remain at home, avoid going out except for emergencies, and stay away from windows and open areas to ensure public safety.
