Foreign Minister: Strengthening the course of joint Arab action

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Jaber received a phone call on Wednesday (Wednesday) from Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the Arab League. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Sheikh Jaber Al-Jaber congratulated the Secretary-General on assuming his new post, expressing his anticipation for working together to enhance the process of joint Arab action and support efforts aimed at developing the working mechanisms of the Arab League and strengthening its role in serving common Arab issues. It noted that the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region and the efforts made in response to them. In a related development, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Jaber held a phone conversation with Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hue Trung, during which the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields were reviewed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the current developments in the region were discussed during the call, and views were exchanged on the efforts made in response to them. (KUNA)
