US Army: Launching second wave of strikes against Iran today

The U.S. Central Command announced that the U.S. military began launching operations, including a second wave of strikes against Iran, today. In a statement, it said the strikes target Iranian military capabilities used to threaten ships transiting its waters through the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier today, U.S. Central Command had announced that it had begun launching a wave of strikes against Iran. The command stated in a press release: “U.S. strikes against Iranian targets continue in response to Iran’s attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.”
