Kuwait strongly condemns the malicious Iranian aggressive statements this evening

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and strongest rejection of the heinous Iranian aggression that targeted the country this evening, resulting in injuries to several members of the armed forces and causing material damage. In a statement, it said: “Reiterating that the continuation of this heinous Iranian aggression constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, and an open defiance of international legitimacy and Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026, and reflecting a determination to persist in a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving the security and stability of the region, the Ministry stresses the inherent right of the State of Kuwait to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the United Nations Charter.”
