Mai Al-Sukari - The Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait honored a group of outstanding Egyptian students who achieved top positions in the results of the Kuwaiti General Secondary School examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony, held at the Arab Open University, celebrated their academic excellence and recognized their achievements, attended by Mariam Al-Anzi, Director of the Private Education Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of Academic Programs at the Arab Open University, along with parents and members of the Egyptian community.

Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohamed Gaber Abou El-Wafa, stated that the outstanding performance of Egyptian students in the Kuwaiti General Secondary School for the 2025/2026 academic year is a source of pride and honor for Egypt, reflecting the ability of the children of the Egyptian community to excel and innovate wherever they are. Abou El-Wafa noted that honoring outstanding students goes beyond recognizing exceptional academic results; it celebrates stories of success, struggle, and perseverance. He commended the students for their discipline, diligence, and belief in the importance of education in building character and serving the nation.

He added that Egyptian students in Kuwait have presented an exemplary model reflecting the authentic values they were raised on, emphasizing that their success has delighted their families and elevated Egypt’s name, proving the Egyptian community’s ability to compete and achieve the best results. The Egyptian Ambassador extended his appreciation to parents, affirming that this success was the result of a genuine partnership between children and their families, and the continuous monitoring, support, and sacrifices they made throughout the educational journey.

He also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people, as well as to the Ministry of Education and all those working in the educational sector, for providing an exceptional educational environment and caring for the children of expatriate communities. He pointed out that this attention reflects the deep fraternal and historical relations between Egypt and Kuwait.

Abou El-Wafa clarified that Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations will remain a model of distinguished Arab relations, noting that education has always been one of the most important bridges of communication between the two countries. He emphasized that the outstanding performance of Egyptian students in Kuwait is a message of love and trust in the new generations and their ability to contribute to the future of both countries.

The Egyptian Ambassador called on the outstanding students to continue their efforts, considering their achievements as the beginning of greater responsibility. He urged them to combine academic excellence with moral distinction, to preserve their Egyptian identity, and to be distinguished ambassadors for their country in various fields.
