Trump: We agreed to hold talks with Iran, but clarified that the ceasefire has ended

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States had informed Iran that the ceasefire had ended, despite his agreement to continue negotiations with Tehran. Trump said on Friday via his Truth Social account: “The Islamic Republic of Iran asked us to continue the ‘talks.’” He added: “We agreed to that, but the United States has informed them, unequivocally and without leaving room for doubt, that the ceasefire has ended.”
