Who Benefits from Palestinian Violence?

We must recognize that the persistence of the bleeding human wound represented by the Palestinian cause, and the grim reports disseminated by news agencies regarding the plight of two million Palestinians in Gaza—who have been displaced from their warm homes and secure lives into miserable tents devoid of livelihoods, schools, or hospitals amid snow and rain—is attributable to several factors, the most significant of which is the repeated squandering of missed peace opportunities in favor of dreams, or more accurately, nightmares, of war, aggression, violence, and terrorism. These demands are unachievable because they do not reflect the realities on the ground, which are known even to an ignorant child, let alone a wise adult... *** Another reason for the persistence of this bloody Palestinian tragedy is the absence of self-criticism and the errors committed by Palestinian leaders across all factions and orientations. These leaders believed, taught, and acted to prevent the resolution of the cause, as its resolution would deprive them of absolute power and the vast wealth derived from trading on the cause and embezzling donation funds. From the very first day, they chose war, violence, and terrorism—such as hijacking planes, bombing buildings, embassies, and airports—alongside inflexible and irrational demands that do not align with the balance of power. They rejected all peace options, no matter how generous, and betrayed those who accepted rational and realistic options, even killing thousands of them, as occurred during the years 1936–1939. This deprived the Palestinians of men capable of waging war and paved the way for the victory of Jewish militias in 1948... *** The Jewish side relied heavily on the successive Palestinian leadership’s choices of violence and war, both within Palestine and abroad, as well as their rejection of the 1937–1947 partition resolutions and subsequent ones, to justify counter-violence and achieve substantial battlefield gains. Even Hitler’s violence against Jews enabled them to transform the Jewish question from a political issue disputed among Jews themselves and world populations into a humanitarian cause that garnered universal support, leading to a race between the Soviet Union and the United States to recognize Israel within minutes of its establishment... *** The final point: Israel continued to benefit immensely from the rejection by Palestinians and Arabs—those unable to outmaneuver the cause’s representatives—of peace and partition options leading to the creation of two states, and instead embraced war and armed operations launched from Gaza in the 1950s, or from Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon in the 1960s, 1970s, and beyond, up to terrorism exemplified by hijacking planes, bombing buses, and taking hostages, culminating in the October 7, 2023 operation. These actions enabled Israel to launch devastating wars, achieve remarkable victories, and occupy vast Palestinian and Arab territories, paving the way for gradual expansion and the eventual occupation of all of historic Palestine. Israel has exploited false, emotionally manipulative slogans that scatter pink dreams at night, which turn into terrifying daytime nightmares for Palestinians...
2- Despite the obvious facts, clearer than the sun at midday, that Israel has benefited from warmongers who facilitated its occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands, and that we have lost decades of global public opinion support, and despite the reality that Palestinian lands have returned to us through peace rather than war, and that Israel has committed, within the peace treaties it concluded with Egypt, Jordan, and even the PLO, to returning occupied territories, there are still those who, from their distant, warm, and safe havens, claim that the October 7 war, along with its sister conflicts—the 1967 war, the 1992 “Mother of Battles,” and the 2003 “Mother of Clashes”—are all eternal victories. Yet none of these individuals have donated even a fraction of the vast, clean, and pure funds they received for deception, incitement, and misinformation, which should have been used for their victims: the millions trapped indefinitely in camps of misery, hunger, and disease in Gaza, where there are no genuine plans for reconstruction or job creation, as was previously the case with UNRWA or in the occupied territories.
