Kuwait: Full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and Egypt.. and support for their security measures

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of the Houthi militia’s attempt to target the city of Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile. In a statement, the ministry affirmed its firm rejection of the continuation of these terrorist attacks, which constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, a flagrant breach of international law and humanitarian law, and an affront to the feelings of Muslims around the world. It also reiterated Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its steadfast support, and its backing of all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents. The ministry praised the vigilance and effectiveness of Saudi air defenses in countering these despicable and cowardly attacks, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

On another note, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and rejection of the armed attack that occurred in the southern region of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which resulted in the deaths of two border guard officers. In a statement, the ministry affirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in all measures it takes to preserve its security and stability, and conveyed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of Egypt, as well as to the families of the victims.
