Kuwait Commercial Bank continues to support educational initiatives through its sponsorship of the “Darasti” exhibition, held from November 9 to 12 at the Sharq Exhibition Grounds, Hall 8, Mushref. The event operates in two sessions: morning from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with participation from more than 100 local and international universities, alongside training institutes and specialized educational service providers. The bank’s sponsorship aligns with its commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to supporting Kuwaiti youth by empowering them academically and professionally. The exhibition offers high school students the opportunity to explore various universities and majors, and to discover educational options that match their interests and future aspirations.
In this context, Badour Al-Buhamseen, Assistant General Manager of Marketing – Retail Banking Sector at the bank, stated: “At Commercial Bank, we strive to provide innovative banking solutions that meet the needs of young people and keep pace with their lifestyle. The YOU package, targeting youth aged 15 to 25, allows them to open an account with just 10 dinars, reflecting this approach. The YOU package offers numerous exclusive benefits, including a 50-dinar cash gift upon the first transfer of the student scholarship (subject to terms and conditions), as well as cashback of up to 10% on purchases within and outside Kuwait when using the prepaid YOU card. Additionally, it provides exclusive offers and discounts throughout the year tailored to the needs and aspirations of young people. The card also supports multi-currency loading, allowing users to choose the appropriate currency for purchases outside Kuwait, along with the ease of account management and card requests through the CBK Mobile app without the need to visit a branch.”
Badour Al-Buhamseen concluded her statement by emphasizing that the bank’s sponsorship of the exhibition reflects its commitment to strengthening engagement with young people and supporting initiatives that contribute to developing their capabilities and preparing them for a promising academic and professional future, in line with its role in promoting community sustainability principles.
