Riyadh (Agencies): The coalition supporting legitimacy revealed that it intercepted and destroyed a drone in Mecca. This comes a day after the coalition intercepted and destroyed two drones in the Riyadh region and a ballistic missile in the southern region, according to coalition spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki. Meanwhile, the Yemeni army announced that it carried out 951 military operations targeting positions and gatherings of the Houthi group over 24 hours, as part of Operation “Yemen’s Dawn,” amid escalating clashes on several fronts, particularly in the provinces of Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, and Taiz. Military spokesperson Majid Al-Nazili said the operations neutralized approximately 332 Houthi field commanders and fighters, in addition to destroying or damaging 56 vehicles, equipment, and weapons belonging to the group. He clarified that the operations focused on targeting military positions, fighter gatherings, and supply centers, in an effort to limit the Houthis’ ability to reinforce their positions and move their forces toward combat fronts. He added that government forces continue their field operations in parallel with movements to reclaim areas lost during recent clashes.
