Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mis’aan participated in welcoming His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to the heads of delegations of Arab states participating in the proceedings of the 22nd edition of the Manama Dialogue 2026, in his capacity as head of the Kuwaiti delegation. During the meeting, the enduring fraternal relations uniting Arab countries were reviewed, and the importance of continuing to strengthen Arab coordination and cooperation was reaffirmed, alongside an exchange of views on key regional and international developments and efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
Ambassador Hamad Al-Mis’aan also met with Pekka Haavisto, the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Sudan, on the sidelines of his participation in the 22nd edition of the Manama Dialogue summit, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the Republic of Sudan and the regional and international efforts undertaken to address the Sudanese crisis, while reaffirming the importance of supporting initiatives aimed at achieving a peaceful solution that enhances security and stability, and preserves Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
