Army: Live Ammunition Firing in North.. and Conclusion of 'Barq 1'

The Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces announced to citizens and residents that certain army units would conduct live-fire exercises in the northwest of the country, starting today, Friday, and continuing until next Tuesday. Meanwhile, the activities of Exercise Barq 1, conducted by the Logistics and Supply Authority represented by the Transportation Command in collaboration with the 94th Mechanized Brigade of Salih Al-Mohammed and the Command for Defense Against Weapons of Mass Destruction, have concluded. In a press statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces said that the exercise concluded under the patronage and attendance of Major General Salah Al-Azmi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff for the Logistics and Supply Authority. It added that the exercise featured the implementation of several field scenarios and tested and enhanced readiness in the areas of command and control, planning, field execution, and coordination among participating entities.
