Worra Bank announced its participation in supporting and empowering the “INNOVARTISM” educational initiative, which aims to support Kuwaiti talents with autism and neurodiversity. This is achieved through sponsoring an intensive and innovative training program focused on preparing high-functioning individuals with autism and enhancing their creative and digital capabilities, thereby facilitating their integration into the labor market and future job opportunities. This initiative aligns with Worra Bank’s commitment to its role in corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, its dedication to supporting national capacities and enhancing opportunities for the most vulnerable groups, and its contribution to building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy, in line with governance and community responsibility standards.
The core idea of the initiative is to bridge the gap between creative perception and professional performance among high-functioning individuals with autism, through a training program that combines innovation, art, and artificial intelligence. The goal is to develop participants’ skills and empower them with modern digital tools tailored to the evolving demands of the labor market. The program offers a specialized training experience that enables participants to learn various concepts and skills related to design thinking, arts, and content creation using artificial intelligence technologies. This enhances their creative abilities and opens new horizons for leveraging their talents in future professional fields.
The intensive training program lasted one week, from October 25 to 31, with five hours of training per day, and targeted participants with high-functioning autism. During the program, participants received training in areas including design thinking, art principles, and AI-based content creation, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills in a training environment that combines knowledge, application, and creativity. The program concluded by awarding participants joint certified experience certificates issued by the participating entities, including Worra Bank and MBVISION, led by Manal Al-Gharbali, CEO and founder of the initiative, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in providing specialized trainers and the Autism Center.
Regarding this context, H.E. Abdullah Al-Rashid, Head of the Human Resources and Public Services Group at Worra Bank, stated: “The initiative aims to achieve direct social and developmental impact by supporting the integration of youth with autism into the private sector workforce, while providing them with free professional and technical training opportunities.” Al-Rashid added: “This direction reflects the importance of providing practical pathways for talents with special needs, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and leverage their creative and technical capabilities, and contributing to enhancing their presence and participation in the work environment.”
Al-Rashid emphasized that this effort is part of Worra Bank’s vision to achieve excellence by empowering the most vulnerable groups, strengthening local partnerships, and contributing to building a knowledge-based economy and preparing innovative national talents. Participation in the “INNOVARTISM” initiative underscores Worra Bank’s trend toward expanding its contributions in the field of corporate social responsibility through human-centric initiatives that empower national capacities, particularly groups requiring additional support and preparation to integrate into the labor market. The initiative also reflects the bank’s interest in supporting national economic and creative cadres, linking corporate social responsibility with concepts of sustainable development and innovation, thereby enhancing its role in serving society and contributing to the development of national human capabilities.
