Washington – Agencies: A report prepared by a group of Democrats on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee highlighted the relationship between U.S. President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, who was involved in sexual crimes, alongside allegations by former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Coll, who claims she was sexually assaulted by Trump in 1993. According to the report, Coll stated that she was sexually assaulted by Trump after he invited her to a suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in 1993, when she was 24 years old, during her participation in the “American Dream” pageant. The report noted that the incident left a psychological impact on Coll, particularly as Trump pressured her to remain silent and not disclose what had happened.

In response, the White House rejected the allegations contained in the report and maintained its stance of denying the accusations against Trump. White House spokesperson Lauren Bush said the report was “nothing more than a desperate attempt by obsessed Democrats to distract Americans from the growing Republican momentum, driven by the historic achievements of President Trump.”

For their part, Democrats accused the U.S. Department of Justice of withholding evidence related to potential crimes and called for an independent investigation into the allegations against Trump, as well as into the Epstein case. The report shed light on the relationship between Trump and Epstein, in addition to the allegations concerning Coll, calling for further investigation into the issues raised.

Meanwhile, the U.S. president said he would respect the results of the midterm congressional elections scheduled for November 3, “provided they are conducted with integrity,” in response to a question about the possibility of Democrats winning a majority. This came in brief remarks he made to reporters at the airport before departing Washington for Texas to participate in a campaign rally.

When asked how he would deal with Democrats if they won a majority in Congress, Trump said, “We’ll find a way to deal with that,” pointing to his presidential powers, particularly the veto authority. He added, “Look, I have strong veto power. I hope it doesn’t happen, but if it does, many presidents have faced this situation before. You have strong veto power, and ultimately you find some way to reach an agreement.”

When asked whether he would respect the election results regardless of the outcome, he replied, “If the election is conducted with integrity, I will respect it.”

Estimates and opinion polls suggest that Democrats are likely to gain a majority in the House of Representatives, while the competition for the Senate remains close between the two parties.
