Central Bank issues bonds worth 150 million dinars

The Central Bank of Kuwait, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, issued treasury bills and government debt securities with a total value of 150 million Kuwaiti dinars for a seven-year maturity, at a uniform yield of 4.125%, amid strong subscription demand that exceeded the issue size by approximately 2.57 times. According to Central Bank data, the total value of bids submitted for subscription reached 386 million dinars, with a median bid yield of 4.188 percent. The highest bid yield was 4.875 percent, while the lowest accepted yield was 2 percent. The data showed that 32 competitive subscription bids were submitted for the issuance, of which 16 were accepted, and the uniform yield for the issuance stood at 4.125 percent.
