The Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, held discussions with the CEOs of BlackRock and KKR on economic partnership and investment opportunities. The Prime Minister received at Bayan Palace Larry Fink, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country. The talks covered prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides to enhance economic partnership, alongside exchanging views on ways to develop commercial and investment relations and support initiatives that would serve mutual interests.
He also received Scott Nuttall, Co-Chief Executive Officer of the investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country. The meeting discussed investment cooperation opportunities and promising prospects, as well as exchanging views on the global economic situation and issues of common interest.
His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, sent a congratulatory message to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, conveying his sincere congratulations on his re-election for a new presidential term. He also sent a congratulatory message to Sir Stanley John, Governor-General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.
