Al-Jazeera tops the 'First' Division

Al-Jazeera claimed top spot in the First Division by defeating Sporty 6-0 in their match played the day before yesterday, as part of the tournament’s third round. Al-Jazeera moved to nine points, securing a perfect record, while taking advantage of Police Union’s loss to Khaitan, also by a 6-0 scoreline. Police Union dropped to third place, remaining on six points from three matches, and relinquished second place to Khaitan, who also has six points but from two games and holds the advantage on goal difference. Al-Yarmouk strengthened their hold on fourth place with a 3-0 victory over Al-Shamaya in the same round, moving to four points. Al-Shamaya remained winless and stayed in sixth from last, just ahead of last-placed Sporty, who trail them on goal difference.
