In implementation of the high directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Private Security and Correctional Institutions Affairs Sector of the Ministry of the Interior released 94 inmates under the repentant rehabilitation program, as part of those covered by the Amir’s high amnesty. This amnesty reflects the paternal care of His Highness the Amir and his keenness to provide those included with a new opportunity to return to their families, reintegrate into society as law-abiding citizens, and contribute to its development. The Ministry of the Interior reaffirmed its continued implementation of rehabilitation and training programs aimed at correcting inmates’ behavior, reinforcing positive values among them, and preparing them for reintegration into society, thereby contributing to achieving family and social stability.
