The General Directorate of Traffic conducted a traffic campaign targeting motorbikes used for food and package deliveries, under the supervision of the Head of the Traffic and Operations Sector, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Azmi, and led by the Director General of the General Directorate of Traffic, Brigadier General Rashid Al-Hajeri, with the participation of the Assistant Director General for Traffic Regulation Affairs, Colonel Ayoub Fathallah. The campaign was part of ongoing security and traffic efforts to enhance traffic discipline and curb dangerous behaviors that pose risks to road users. Traffic patrols monitored violations committed by delivery motorbike riders and verified their compliance with traffic rules, regulations, and operational requirements.

The campaign identified various traffic violations, most notably failing to keep to the right side of the road, violating overtaking rules, weaving between vehicles, mounting and dismounting from sidewalks, failing to equip delivery boxes with lighting, and not wearing reflective vests. As a result, several violators were apprehended and referred to traffic detention, traffic violation tickets were issued, and a number of offending motorbikes and vehicles were impounded at the detention yard. Legal measures were taken against the violators, including referring those subject to deportation procedures to the relevant authorities.

The General Directorate of Traffic reaffirmed its commitment to continuing field and monitoring campaigns targeting delivery motorbikes across all regions of the country, urging motorbike riders and related companies to comply with traffic laws and regulations to ensure their safety and the safety of all road users.
