The Kuwait Crown Prince Cup playoff matches kick off today with two games. The first match sees Al-Sporty face Al-Attihad Al-Amni (Police Club) at 5:40 p.m. at Nasser Al-Asimi Stadium, while Al-Burqan take on Al-Shamaya at 8:40 p.m. at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium.
Al-Attihad Al-Amni aims to continue their positive form after winning their first two matches in the First Division, sharing the top spot with Al-Jazira on six points each. Meanwhile, Al-Sporty are looking to bounce back and secure a positive result in the playoff, having managed only a single point from a draw against Al-Burqan and suffering a defeat to Al-Jazira in the league.
In the second match, Al-Burqan hope to capitalize on their playoff participation to make a strong start, having earned just one point from their first two First Division fixtures. Al-Shamaya, on the other hand, are seeking to improve their results after losing both of their matches in the competition, leaving them without any points.
The playoff action continues on October 29 with a match between Al-Khaitan and the winner of the Al-Sporty versus Al-Attihad Al-Amni fixture, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium.
