Barcelona, the Spanish league champions, announced yesterday that their French international defenders Jules Koundé and Eric Garcia will miss today’s highly anticipated match against Paris Saint-Germain due to injuries. Koundé suffered a left ankle injury, while Garcia sustained a right thigh injury. The Catalan club clarified that Koundé has sprained his left ankle, ruling him out of the clash with the Parisian side, with doubts surrounding his availability for Sunday’s El Clásico against Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Garcia will be sidelined for three to four weeks due to a muscle injury in his right thigh.
