Municipality: 'Private Residential Fences' Referred to Executive Body

The Municipal Council, chaired by Abdullah Al-Mohri, approved a request from the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources to add activities to the veterinary hospital located in the Salmiya area, plot 8, which covers an area of 2,112 square meters. The added activities will occupy 1% of the site area, equivalent to 21.12 square meters, within the ground floor, and include retail sale of animal supplies and feed, as well as veterinary medicines and equipment.

The Council also approved a proposal submitted by member Dr. Hassan Kamal regarding the redesign and expansion of the exit on Street 81 in the Al-Shaab Al-Bahari area. The expansion will increase the storage lane to a width of 3.60 meters and a length of 1.41 meters.

Additionally, the Municipal Council ratified the minutes of the 26th ordinary session of the fourth legislative term, held on October 5, 2026, after approving an amendment to the minutes due to a clerical error by the Council’s General Secretariat, which had failed to approve a proposal to amend Articles 2 and 8 of Ministerial Decision No. 322 of 2023 concerning the subdivision of land designated for construction. The Council also took note of the minutes of the 10th meeting of the Capital Governorate Committee.

Furthermore, the Council referred to the Executive Agency a proposal submitted by member Nasser Al-Jada’an regarding an amendment to the Agricultural Regulations concerning the construction of light mesh fences on residential plots allocated to persons with disabilities, in order to obtain the Agency’s technical opinion.
