Al-Ahly, Al-Rayyan, and Oman Drawn with Kuwait in 'Gulf Handball'

The draw for the 42nd edition of the Gulf Club Handball Championship, held recently in Bahrain, placed the local representative, Al-Kuwait Club, in a strong Group 2 alongside the tournament host, Al-Ahli of Bahrain, Qatar’s Al-Rayyan, and Oman of Oman. Group 2 is considered the strongest in the competition, given the presence of several teams favored to compete for the title. Meanwhile, Group 1 includes the defending champions, Al-Arabi of Qatar, as well as the UAE’s Al-Sharjah and Al-Ahli Youth, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Muhit, and Bahrain’s Al-Shabab. The tournament will take place from November 21 to 30. According to the competition format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
