Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation participated in the “My Job 2026” exhibition, aiming to strengthen engagement with Kuwaiti youth and highlight the center’s role in preparing national talent and developing their skills to meet the needs of the labor market in technology sectors. The exhibition, in its fifth edition, is held under the patronage and opening of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower. It is expected to feature participation from more than 120 companies across 14 vital sectors, alongside an attendance exceeding 40,000 young men and women, providing a platform for direct interaction between job seekers and private sector institutions.

Saud Al-Anzi, Executive Director of the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation, stated: “The center’s participation is an extension of its efforts to empower Kuwaiti youth, discover promising talents, and provide opportunities for them to acquire the skills and experience needed to enter the labor market with confidence and efficiency.” He added that investing in young talent is one of the central pillars of the center’s mission, emphasizing the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, especially amid rapid developments in artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity. He noted the center’s commitment to building partnerships with specialized institutions to implement training programs that contribute to preparing a generation capable of innovation and contributing to the development of the digital economy.

For his part, Adbi Al-Mutairi, Technical Director at the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation, said: “The center is keen on attracting young talents who possess passion and readiness to learn and develop in technical fields,” pointing out that capacity building is not limited to acquiring technical skills, but also includes problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and the capacity to transform ideas into practical solutions. He clarified that the training programs implemented by the center enable participants to engage in practical experiences and familiarize themselves with the stages of technology project development, helping them discover their capabilities and define their career paths.

The center’s presence at the exhibition follows a series of training initiatives implemented in collaboration with youth organizations, including “Loyak” last August, and “Amal Kuwait,” which recently concluded an intensive five-week training program involving 12 trainees, as part of a strategy aimed at expanding practical training opportunities and preparing youth for labor market requirements.
