Gulf Air Launches First Flights to Prague

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Czech Tourism Board and Jazeera Airways, hosted a special event to celebrate the launch of Jazeera Airways’ first winter flights from Kuwait to Prague. The event brought together partners from the travel and tourism sector to showcase the diverse winter tourism experiences offered by the Czech Republic and to strengthen tourism ties between the two countries. Jazeera Airways will operate two direct flights per week between Kuwait and Prague from December 17, 2026, to February 7, 2027, providing travelers with a comfortable and competitively priced opportunity to enjoy the European winter atmosphere.
The flight schedule coincides with the holiday season and school breaks, allowing travelers direct access to Prague’s winter markets, historical and cultural landmarks, and stunning scenery during the winter months. Speakers at the event included Juraj Chmel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kuwait; Barbora Andělová, International Marketing Manager for the Middle East and India at the Czech Tourism Board; and Paul Carroll, Head of Commercial at Jazeera Airways.
Ambassador Juraj Chmel said, “We welcome the launch of Jazeera Airways’ direct winter flights to Prague, which marks an important new milestone in strengthening relations between the Czech Republic and Kuwait. Barbora Andělová, International Marketing Manager for the Middle East and India at the Czech Tourism Board, highlighted the tourism opportunities between Kuwait and the Czech Republic offered by the new direct winter flights launching this season for the first time.
