Al-Najem: Expanding economic partnership and joint work with Bahrain

Bahraini Minister of Public Works, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Hawaj, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, emphasized the importance of exchanging developmental experiences and expertise between the two countries. This came during the Bahraini minister’s reception of Ambassador Al-Najim, according to a statement from the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom received by KUNA on Thursday. The embassy stated that the meeting discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and expand areas of cooperation and joint work. It added that Minister Al-Hawaj praised the deep historical ties linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, noting both sides’ commitment to elevating and strengthening the existing partnership. The embassy confirmed that both sides stressed the importance of exchanging expertise in developmental fields and benefiting from mutual experiences to serve common interests and support development efforts in both countries, as well as continuing consultations and exchanging views to open broader horizons for cooperation and reflect the special nature of the entrenched fraternal relations between the two countries. Attending the meeting on behalf of the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Counselor Abdulaziz Al-Falah and Second Secretary Lujain Abu Aliyan. Meanwhile, Bahraini Minister of Sustainable Development, Nour Al-Khalifa, and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to enhance cooperation in the fields of sustainable development, investment, and the exchange of developmental experiences and expertise, thereby contributing to expanding the horizons of economic partnership and achieving the common interests of the two countries. The Kuwaiti Embassy in Manama stated in a press release that this came during a meeting between Minister Al-Khalifa and Ambassador Al-Najim, during which both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, intensify coordination among relevant authorities, and exchange experiences and successful practices in the field of sustainable development.
