Commercial Real Estate Organizes 'Ishraqat Amal' to Empower People with Disabilities

In line with its firm commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting talents and empowering persons with disabilities by providing them with opportunities to express their talents and creativity, Al-Sharika Al-Tijariya Al-Aqariya is organizing the second edition of the “Ishraqat Amal” (Rays of Hope) art exhibition, under the patronage of Sheikh Sheikha Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah, Honorary President of the Kuwait Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities. The event features participation from individuals and institutions dedicated to supporting, empowering, and enabling persons with disabilities.

The organization of the second edition follows the success achieved by the first edition last year, reflecting the company’s commitment to continuing the development of its community initiatives and creating supportive spaces for talents while promoting equal opportunities. This approach reinforces the concept of inclusivity in society and ensures that everyone has the chance to participate and create.

The “Ishraqat Amal” exhibition serves as an artistic and community platform that allows participants to showcase their creativity and engage with the public, in addition to displaying and selling their artworks, thereby supporting their independence and enhancing their presence and active participation in society. The exhibition also highlights the role of art in expressing capabilities and aspirations, and showcases the talents and creative potential of persons with disabilities.

The event is supported and sponsored by several companies and entities, including: Al-Salmiya Group for Project Development, United Entertainment and Tourism Company, Al-Mutajarra Real Estate Company, Kuwait Parks Company, Kuwait Commercial Markets Complexes Company, Arzan Financial Group for Financing and Investment, Kuwait Real Estate Company, Industrial and Financial Investments Company, Fun Zone Company, and Salmiya Symphony Style Hotel. These partnerships reflect the participating entities’ commitment to supporting the artistic talents of persons with disabilities, enabling them to showcase their creativity, and fostering collaboration in purposeful community initiatives.

In order to enhance community participation, a number of volunteers from the Integrated Care Foundation for Persons with Disabilities are involved in organizing the exhibition, underscoring the importance of cooperation and integration among various entities and individuals in supporting community initiatives and enabling persons with disabilities to participate effectively.

This initiative falls within the efforts of Al-Sharika Al-Tijariya Al-Aqariya to consolidate social sustainability and strengthen corporate social responsibility practices, in alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, particularly the social pillar, which focuses on inclusion, equal opportunities, and the empowerment of different segments of society. The initiative also reflects the company’s direction toward supporting initiatives with positive and sustainable impact, contributing to building a more inclusive and cohesive society.
