The Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Adbi Al-Nasser, received a delegation from the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition at the General Diwan of the Governorate. The delegation included Acting Director General of the Food and Nutrition Authority, Abeer Al-Rumah; Director General of Inspection and Supervision Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Jalal; Director of the Farwaniya Governorate Inspection Department, Talal Al-Daihani; and Director of the Engineering Services Department, Engineer Amal Al-Matrouk.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the governorate and the authority to develop food inspection and oversight, raise compliance with health requirements, and ensure food safety in markets and food establishments. The governor stressed the importance of intensifying inspection tours, improving the efficiency of supervisory procedures, and developing engineering services related to the authority’s operations, in order to protect public health and enhance the level of services provided to citizens and residents.
