Al-Yousef Chairs Coordination Meeting for Telecom Companies

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef chaired a coordination meeting attended by the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs, the Acting Minister of Media and Culture Omar Al-Omar, chief executive officers of telecommunications companies, and several senior security officials to discuss a number of issues of mutual interest. During the meeting, various administrative and regulatory aspects were reviewed, and related procedures and ways to facilitate their implementation were discussed, alongside exploring coordination among relevant authorities to help organize work, remove obstacles, and find appropriate solutions to the issues at hand. The meeting comes in line with the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to follow up on shared matters with government entities and the private sector, and to enhance cooperation on these issues, thereby supporting the smooth continuation of operations, completing related procedures within established frameworks, and serving the public interest.
