Foreign Ministry: Houthi Militia's Excesses Warrant a Firm International Stance to Hold Them Accountable

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing terrorist and criminal attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Ministry referred to the latest such attacks, including the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. The Ministry emphasized that persistently targeting civilian airports and vital facilities constitutes a serious escalation and a direct threat to civilian lives and the safety of air navigation, necessitating a firm international stance to halt these heinous attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
Kuwait reaffirmed its absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures the Kingdom takes to protect its security and stability and safeguard its sovereignty, stressing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Kuwait also expressed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the victim’s family, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
