Kuwait and Iraq: Ending Escalation in the Region

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a phone call yesterday afternoon from Iraqi President Nizar Al-Amidi, during which they reviewed the solid bilateral relations between the two countries and their peoples, as well as ways to support and develop these ties across various fields. The discussion also addressed issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on the regional and international scenes, particularly concerning the current situation in the region, with both sides exchanging views and emphasizing the necessity of de-escalation and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all outstanding issues.
