Israel killed 324 children since ceasefire agreement
Gaza – Agencies: The Gaza Center for Human Rights revealed that the announcement of a ceasefire did not put an end to lethal violations or end the risks threatening the lives of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The center clarified in a report issued on the first anniversary of the ceasefire that Israeli occupation forces killed 1,481 Palestinians during this year. The report tallied the martyrdom of 324 children and 164 women, in addition to 51 elderly individuals over the course of a full year. The center affirmed that residents of the Gaza Strip continue to face widespread destruction, displacement, and the lack of safe shelter, while restrictions on the basic elements of life persist, disrupting recovery and reconstruction efforts. It stressed that a ceasefire is not an end in itself, and that merely announcing it is insufficient to declare the end of genocide or the elimination of its effects and risks.
