His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent a message of condolence to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the victims of the blatant attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in casualties and injuries. He prayed to Almighty God to have mercy on the victims and grant the injured swift recovery, emphasizing Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of this heinous and cowardly attack, which targeted the lives of innocent, peaceful people and violated all religious and human values. His Highness reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and stability and protect its citizens and residents on its territory, stressing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

In a parallel move, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, sent a message of condolence to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conveying his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the victims of the blatant attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, praying to God Almighty to have mercy on the victims and grant the injured swift recovery.

For her part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of the blatant attack launched by the Houthi militia against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in deaths and injuries among innocent civilian passengers and airport workers, including Saudi nationals and individuals of various other nationalities, as well as the temporary suspension of operational activities at the airport. The Ministry emphasized that this heinous and cowardly attack constitutes a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and that the repetition of these organized hostile acts targeting civilian objects and vital infrastructure represents a serious escalation and a direct threat to the safety of air navigation and civilians, necessitating accountability and prosecution of those responsible.

The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, its steadfast support, and its backing of all measures taken to safeguard the Kingdom’s security and stability and protect its citizens and residents on its territory, affirming that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the GCC states. The Ministry also expressed Kuwait’s deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, as well as to the governments and peoples of the countries to which the victims belonged, and to their families and loved ones, while conveying wishes for the swift recovery of the injured.

The Ministry called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take a firm stance against these repeated attacks, ensuring the protection of civilian objects and civil aviation infrastructure, preventing their recurrence in the future, and guaranteeing that perpetrators do not escape punishment.
