His Highness Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a message of condolence to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy over the martyrdom of three Saudi citizens and the injury of others following the attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport. He prayed to God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs, grant them a place in Paradise, admit them among the ranks of the martyrs, inspire their families with patience and solace, and grant the injured a swift recovery. He also prayed to God Almighty to perpetuate security, stability, and peace in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to protect it from all harm.
His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, also sent a message of condolence to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conveying his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy over the martyrdom of three Saudi citizens and the injury of others following the attacks on King Khalid International Airport. He prayed to God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs and forgive them, admit them among the ranks of the martyrs, and grant the injured a swift recovery.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and deep outrage over the brazen attacks launched by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Ministry affirmed that these attacks, which targeted airport facilities and a Saudi Airlines aircraft, resulted in the martyrdom of several Saudi citizens, injuries to residents of various nationalities, and material damage, constituting a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law. It stressed Kuwait’s firm rejection of these cowardly attacks and their recurrence, which pose a direct threat to the security of the region, the safety of civilians and civilian objects, and air navigation, emphasizing the need for an immediate halt to such hostile acts.
The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents on its territory. It affirmed that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It also expressed Kuwait’s sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, as well as to the families of the martyrs, wishing the injured a swift recovery.
