CEO of Kuwait Tanker Company Honored in Bahrain

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Oil Tankers Company, Sheikh Khaled Al-Sabah, stated that his recognition by Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, is in appreciation of the company’s role in localizing and replacing expatriate workers with national personnel and enhancing the participation of Kuwaiti talent in the labor market. The award ceremony took place during the event honoring pioneering projects and figures in the fields of civil service, labor, and social affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel’s Ghazal Hall in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of the ministerial meetings focused on civil service, labor, and social affairs in GCC countries. Sheikh Khaled Al-Sabah noted that the Kuwaiti oil sector plays a pivotal role in supporting efforts to localize national workforce through providing employment opportunities, training national cadres, developing their skills, and creating a suitable work environment that contributes to strengthening the presence of citizens across various oil-related specialties and fields, thereby supporting the development process and consolidating the role of national talent in the labor market.
