Border and Coast Guard Sector Welcomes Iraqi Security Delegation

The Head of the Border Security and Coast Guard Sector, Major General Majbel Fahd bin Shawk, received a security delegation from the Republic of Iraq, led by Commander of the Iraqi Border Forces, Lieutenant General Haqqooqi Mohammed Abdulwahab Al-Saadi, accompanied by the Commander of the Fourth Border Zone, Major General Hikmat Halim Dhaie, and several other security officials, in the presence of several sector leaders. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on an overview of security cooperation between the two countries and joint efforts in border security. The two sides held a meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance coordination and exchange expertise in border security, contributing to the security and stability of both countries. The visit also saw the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two sides to strengthen joint coordination in security and border matters. At the conclusion of the visit, commemorative shields were exchanged, underscoring the deep fraternal relations and security cooperation between Kuwait and the Republic of Iraq.
