Minister of Public Works: Accelerating Road Network Maintenance

Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan stressed the need to accelerate road network maintenance works in accordance with approved standards and the specified timeline, without compromising implementation quality. This came in a statement by Minister Al-Mashaan following her inspection of asphalt layer paving works in the Al-Fanitees area of the Al-Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, where she heard a briefing from the engineering team on the latest developments and stages of completion. She stated that the Ministry of Public Works is continuing to implement its plan for maintaining the road network across various regions of the country, aiming to enhance its efficiency and improve safety for users. She affirmed that engineering teams would continue field supervision at various sites to ensure compliance with approved standards, noting that “we have directed the supervising teams to monitor all implementation stages until completion according to the specified schedule,” emphasizing that there would be no laxity regarding work quality.
