Al-Mughams: Coordination Among Gulf Societies to Develop Humanitarian Work

The chairman of the board of directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, retired Ambassador Khaled Al-Mughams, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among Gulf national societies, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences, to contribute to the development of humanitarian work and enhance the efficiency of responses to humanitarian needs and challenges. This statement was made by Al-Mughams in an interview with KUNA following his visit to the headquarters of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in the capital, Doha, and his meeting with Mohammed Al-Bushra, Assistant Secretary-General for the Communications and Resource Development Sector at the Qatar Red Crescent Society. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides were discussed in several areas of mutual interest. Al-Mughams said that the relations binding the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and its Qatari counterpart are built on a long history of joint cooperation and coordination, reaffirming the commitment to developing these ties and leveraging the expertise and experiences of both parties to serve shared humanitarian objectives.
