Kuwait and Czech Republic Hold Fifth Round of Political Consultations

The fifth round of political consultations between the Kuwaiti and Czech Ministries of Foreign Affairs was held in the Czech capital, Prague. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Czech side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Maria Chatarova. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the consultations addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international stages. The consultations also featured a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding between the Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and the Czech Diplomatic Academy, focusing on cooperation in diplomatic training and capacity building. The agreement was signed on the Kuwaiti side by Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan and on the Czech side by Dana Kovářová, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy under the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
