First Deputy PM: Presenting the 'Saudi Super Cup' in a Manner befitting Kuwait's Name

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef chaired a coordination meeting yesterday to assess readiness to host the Saudi Super Cup matches in Kuwait. The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Acting Minister of Media and Culture Omar Al-Omar, and Minister of State for Youth and Sports Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahama.
In a press statement, Al-Yousef emphasized the importance of continuous on-the-ground monitoring of preparations, direct coordination among relevant authorities, and the prompt removal of obstacles to ensure precise and efficient readiness, safeguard the safety of spectators and participants, ensure well-organized matches, and present this sporting event in a manner befitting Kuwait’s name.
The statement noted that the meeting reviewed preparations for hosting the matches and strengthened coordination among relevant authorities to integrate security, organizational, and media efforts, complete hosting requirements, and provide necessary facilitations for spectators and participants.
Representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the General Fireforce Department, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, the Municipality, the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, and the Kuwait Football Association attended the meeting, along with Fahad Al-Ghanim, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aayan Group, and Rashid Al-Omairi, Chief Executive Officer of Al-Rai Media Group.
