Competitions for the First Division of the 2026-2027 sports season kick off today with the participation of seven clubs, following the addition of newcomer Police Union, which is making its debut in local competitions, while Al-Yarmouk will miss the opening round. The first round features three matches today: Sporty faces Khaitan at Naif Al-Dabbous Stadium, Al-Burqan plays Al-Jazira at Nasser Al-Asimi Stadium, and Al-Shamiyah takes on Police Union at Al-Sahel Stadium.
