Dr. Hanadi Al-Mubarak, Chairperson of the Award and founder of Ecosystem Management and Economic Consulting, announced that Kuwait will honor the winners of the Fourth Kuwait International Competition to Support the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology Ecosystem for Economic Diversification on October 12, 2026. The award ceremony will be held under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahim, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, reflecting his commitment to supporting youth, entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, startups, government and private entities, as well as academic and financial institutions. She emphasized that the competition draws its mission from the high directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which underscore the importance of supporting economic diversification pathways, empowering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enabling sustainable development, thereby reinforcing Kuwait’s standing in the fields of the digital economy, technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. She clarified that the competition is an extension of the Arab Gulf Initiative for Economic Diversification launched by Dr. Hanadi Al-Mubarak in 2020, and its objectives align with Kuwait’s Vision 2035 and the future visions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Arab nations, and international partners toward building a sustainable digital economy based on innovation, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence. She added that the competition serves as an international platform aimed at empowering the innovation, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence ecosystem; supporting inventors and innovators; enabling the digital economy; accelerating the economic and social impacts of technology and innovation; and fostering effective partnerships, program-based economic diversification, technology transfer, and commercialization. Dr. Al-Mubarak concluded that the award ceremony has become an annual international platform bringing together a select group of scientists, experts, inventors, entrepreneurs, and startups, alongside Gulf, Arab, and international expertise, to showcase successful experiences and enhance partnerships and international cooperation toward building a diversified and sustainable digital economy.
