Prime Minister Receives Italian 'Made in Italy' Minister

His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, with the attendance of Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi, received yesterday Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and his accompanying delegation, during his visit to the country. The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation between Kuwait and the Italian Republic and ways to enhance and develop them, particularly in economic, investment, and industrial sectors, as well as supporting the business sector and encouraging innovation, in service of the mutual interests of the two countries. During the meeting, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy expressed his sincere gratitude to the State of Kuwait, represented by Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), for responding to the Italian government’s call to cap fuel prices, reflecting its deep concern for the economic conditions of Italian families. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority. His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, sent a congratulatory message to Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, conveying his sincere congratulations on the 53rd anniversary of the victories of the October 6 War.
