Al-Jalahma and Al-Yousef Discussed Ways to Enhance Cooperation with Al-Rajoub

On Monday, State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma met with Palestinian Football Federation President Jibril Rajoub during the latter’s visit to Kuwait. The Public Authority for Youth and Sports said in a statement that the meeting, held in the presence of the Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait, Rami Tahboub, featured friendly exchanges reflecting the depth and strength of the fraternal and historical ties between the two countries, as well as their shared interest and commitment to enhancing and developing these relations across various fields. The statement added that the meeting addressed topics related to sports and football, including ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination and exchange expertise to serve the sports movement in both countries and support its development.

For his part, Kuwait Football Federation President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef discussed with Palestinian Football Federation President Jibril Rajoub ways to enhance cooperation between the two federations and coordinate on upcoming meetings of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) presidents and general secretaries, as well as the AFC Congress, scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan, from October 20 to 24.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef received Rajoub in the presence of AFC board members Dr. Ahmad Ajib, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, and Nasser Al-Adwani, as well as AFC General Secretary Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub. On this occasion, Al-Yousef presented Rajoub with a commemorative plaque.
